PS Engineering Aerocom III Intercom: Loud and Clear!

The portable Aerocom III by PS Engineering offers the finest in cockpit communications. The two-place unit is stereo through-out, with a music input and a connector for external power by cigarette lighter adaptor included. Battery power is by 9-Volt battery which will last for about 10 hours. The most important feature of the Aerocom III is the automatic squelch: Where other intercoms require frequent manual setting of the squelch level, the Aerocom III will analyze the noise level at each microphone station constantly and open the respective mic only when it is spoken into. No more clipping of words, no more fiddling with squelch knobs. Also, since each microphone has its own electronics circuit, only one mic at a time will be open, reducing cabin noise getting into the system. Regardless of the mix of headsets and their microphone characteristics, the separate circuitry will take care of any possible mismatch.
We sell the Aerocom III two-place unit for 245 Euro. The Aerocom EX expansion unit with two more headset connectors, separate volume control and an extra music input is 125 Euro. The combo pack of both the Aerocom III and EX, providing you with a four-place intercom, sells for 355 Euro. A portable push-to-talk switch is available for 28 Euro.
